  • Prism Arts Philadelphia 1021 Hamilton Street Philadelphia, PA, 19123 (map)

This is an Open Call.

Exhibition will run Friday October 17, 2025 - November 14, 2025

Deadline for submitting: September 17, 2025

We’re looking for photographers—seasoned pros, emerging artists, and passionate streetwalkers with a camera or cellphone in hand—to submit work for "Streets of Philadelphia," a curated group show dedicated to the raw, un-staged beauty of the life in our city.

Whether it’s the grit of a corner store, the softness of early light on the row-houses, a fleeting stranger’s face, or the quiet chaos of the subway—we want authentic moments. This is about Philly as you see it.

"Unposed. Unfiltered. Unapologetically Philly. A photography show capturing the city as it breathes."

What we’re looking for:

  • Street photography only — people, places, architecture, movement etc

  • No staging or posed shots — this is a documentary in spirit

  • Black & white or color are welcome.

  • All formats welcome — DSLR, film, mobile, etc.

  • No studio lighting. No setups. Just real life. NO AI generated images.

We encourage submissions from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, nonbinary, and all humans — this show is for everyone.

How to submit:

  • If you would like to hang Prints please submit up to 5 photographs (JPEG) of the images that you want to showcase. When it comes to actual prints that will hang, they can not be bigger than 18 x 24.

  • If you would like to showcase images on our digital screens please submit a portfolio of max 20 images in jpegs but they need to be part of a cohesive story you are trying to tell digitally.

  • Include:
    Your name + pronouns
A short bio (150 words max)
A brief artist statement about your relationship to the city (optional, but encouraged)
